STEVE PEACE
A veteran tattooer with over 35 years of experience, Steve is the owner and operator of Immaculate Concept Tattoo, one of the longest running tattoo shop in Calgary, AB.
Over 23 years ago, Steve took a leap that would help define tattoo culture in Canada by creating the Calgary Tattoo & Arts Festival, with Edmonton not far behind. What started as a bold
idea has grown into the largest and busiest tattoo shows in the country, setting the standard for conventions nationwide.
With a background as a sterile technician and piercer before he ever picked up a tattoo machine, Steve has always prioritized health and safety - leading him to create CleanBodyArt, a
comprehensive course for the body modification industry. He is also the driving force behind TattooDay, a social media app built to connect tattooers and clients worldwide.
Constantly evolving and pushing the industry forward, Steve remains at the forefront of tattooing. Proving that even after decades in the game, he’s still finding new ways to grow,
innovate, and elevate the community he’s helped build.
In his free time, you can find him at one of his favourite concerts or tracking down the best fish chips in the UK. He is also thinking of changing his middle name to “Judas” to
match his musical taste.
TERRA CONNORS
Terra joined the Tattoo & Arts Festival back in 2013, bringing with her an extensive background in operations and project management, business strategy, logistics, marketing, and customer
relations. With more than 30 years of experience producing trade shows and events all over Canada, she previously acted as CFO and Managing Partner for Canwest Productions, one of
Canada’s largest independent retail trade show producers.
She loves the people, the connections and the excitement of the trade show industry, and the introduction of the Tattoo Shows has since fueled her passion for tattoos, the community and the
artists who bring it to life.
In her free time, she continues to expand her own tattoo collection while juggling her time with her husband, three kids and three dogs.
Fun fact: Terra's very first tattoo back in 1994 was actually and very coincidentally done by Steve Peace himself!
ERIN PORTER
Erin Porter is an international tattoo show host, influencer, and 14+ year veteran of the tattoo and entertainment industries. She began her career at 18, working in a tattoo shop in
Vancouver, and had her first introduction to Alberta Tattoo Shows at 20 as a promo model—an experience that sparked her passion for tattoo conventions.
In 2017, she became the assistant to Steve Peace, later stepping into her role as stage host in 2021. Erin has since become a key part of the Tattoo & Arts Festivals and has hosted
internationally with UKTTA in Birmingham and Manchester.
With a combined following of over 350,000, Erin uses her platform to promote tattoo culture and community, while remaining passionate about preserving the art and making it accessible to a
wider audience.
In her free time, you can find her with her nose in a book—or in the chair, adding to her ever-growing tattoo collection.
The Tattoo & Arts Festivals are proudly family owned and operated.
