ARTIST INFORMATION & REQUIREMENTS

Please read and then proceed to the online application below. 

NEW ARTIST REQUESTS:
Want to be considered for the show? ...please send pictures of your tattoo work, vendor product or links to terra@tlc-strategies.com

*Please make sure you read and understand all Artist Requirements below!

 PLEASE NOTE: 

- No home based artists permitted
- No Tattoo Kit Suppliers permitted
- No Tattoo Studios offering classes  
- No Apprenctices or Jr. Artists permitted to tattoo at the Show.  Experienced Artists only (2years experience and up) - thank you!

- Only REGISTERED artists (listed on the application) can tattoo at the event. 

Payment must accompany the application in order to be considered.

PARTICIPATING ARTISTS MUST:

  1. Be registered and listed on the submitted and approved event application.
  2. All artists must complete the Artist Waiver & Safety Agreement (prior to the Show). The Artist Waiver & Safety Agreement is forwarded to each Studio Contact upon approval of their application. They are responsible for sending to all other particpating artists within their group registration.
  3. All artists must have a valid and industry specific Bloodborne Pathogens Certificate.  

    Approved certifcates include: Health Educators, Progressive Mentorship, Cleanbodyart.com, Protraintings.com, Compliance Training Online, Cathy Montie Body Art, Body Art Training Group, NAIT

 We do not accept: 

  • Apprenctices or Jr. Artists to tattoo at the Show
    ARTISTS MUST HAVE 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE MINIMUM
  • Tattoo Kit Suppliers
  • Tattoo Studios offering classes
  • Tattoo booths to sell retail products, unless it is Shop merchandise

Payment must accompany the application in order to be considered.

 

 

Once your application has been reviewed, you will receive a confirmation within 48hrs of your submission.

After acceptance, all Show information will be sent by email and MAILCHIMP.
(watch your junk just in case!)

All Show information is additionally posted on the website. 

Artists will be listed on the website in order of registration. 
Please make sure any submitted images are of the artists work, not a headshot. 
Also ensure all images are clear and orientated correctly (ie: not sideways), as we do not have time to edit images. 

In order to tattoo on-site Artists must:

Website Posts: 
Pictures of each artists work will be posted alphabetically, by first name. Images provided with the application will be used. Images will be posted as shops register. Please make sure any submitted images are of the artists work, not a headshot.  Please ensure all images are clear and orientated correctly (ie: not sideways), as we do not have time to edit images. 


Social Media Posts: 
Due to the size and scale of the Tattoo & Arts Festivals, we cannot no longer effectively post all artists on our socials.

Submission of artwork below will not guarantee a posting on the show’s Instagram page.However, all registered artists will continue to be featured on our website, in addition we will be shifting to TattooDay for further artist promotion.

TattooDay is a dedicated App promoting artists to attendees and tattoo enthusiasts in general.

Any attending artists with a TattooDay account will be featured on the TattooDay Show page as well as being posted on the app.

*Artists sharing or rotating with another artist are subject to a $100 ($150 late) rotation fee to cover insurance and extra show fees for the weekend.  This will be added to your invoice upon registering. 

 You will receive a confirmation within 48hrs of applying - if you do not, you need to resend your application or contact us at terra@tlc-strategies.com
